In the late Qing Dynasty, at the Tai-Ping Heavenly Kingdom Movement (185x), the peasant staged an uprising war near Guangzhou. Chan Dak-Chyun of Panyu and son, Chan Yut-Loi, headed south in a rowing boat in order to avoid the gangsters. Leaving their hometowns, settled for life on boat in a small fishing port - Hong Kong. Created today's Chan family.
